Parenting - Begin with your womb

IF THE WOMB IS A TEMPLE OF JOY AND LOVE……

It is quite scientific. Our body takes form in the womb. Over those nine months a new soul prepares to enter this world in a manifest form. A soul which is pure, innocent and bursting with joy and love. Have you then wondered how the climate of the womb decides what the soul first experiences? Does the womb not become its first taste of what lies beyond as the world? If your womb is like a temple of joy, love and light how can the child not be blessed? And if your womb is a dark, dank cell of pain, negativity and anger how can the child be anything but that ?

Understand that the womb is a very mystical space and time. The soul is taking form as a body and all is new and unknown. The silence of the womb allows for the mind/body/spirit to assume health and wholeness. Love and light are the only critical and powerful tools to aid this gestation.

If you are serious about raising a special and wholesome being, you must begin from the time you are pregnant. Pregnancy is a critical period for the foundation of your baby. Mystical texts have always underlined the importance of this time and are full of stories of how blessed children were detected by the mother because of her experiences during pregnancy. Science has beggared us of this knowledge and power. You can tap into this power and begin to access the potential of your child.

As a mother this is your first step to building a strong and healthy bond with the child. There is enough research today to back the power of communication between a mother and her foetus. Access that As a mother this is your first step to building a strong and healthy bond with the child. There is enough research information if you are sceptical of this truth and then turn to welcoming your child into the world with love and wisdom.

What feelings affect a foetus the most?

· If the pregnancy is unwanted or unexpected the anger and frustration of the mother have a deep   impact on the child and result in it feeling unwanted and insecure. Research into womb   memories of some men and women, reveals that at the base of their fear and insecurity is a   womb child who felt unwanted.
· A disturbed emotional environment whether with the husband or his family is picked up by the   child.
· Aversion or fear of a particular person by the mother, creates the same feelings in the womb   child.
· A depressed or sad psyche of the mother brings an emotionally listless, angry or frightened   child into this world.
· Violent incidents and traumatic experiences of the mother during the pregnancy cause the child   to be born with excessive protection towards the mother, fear, anger, insecurity and guilt.
· A family or husband being cruel to a pregnant wife is ensuring an emotionally crippled and   violent child

  WHAT YOU CAN DO

· Use a simple focussed meditation on your womb everyday to communicate with the child. Place your hand on your womb and begin by thanking the child for choosing you as its doorway to the world. Feel your love flowing though to the child as a white or gold light filling the womb with your presence and protection. Promise to care and support the child through its passage into life and adulthood. Make NO demands or have any expectations in this communication. Just promise it light, love and joy. Let it feel the happiness of this special bond that you both will share and how it will bring a new and precious friendship into your life.

· If you can use soothing music and a serene environment to do this it will aid the meditation significantly. If you can use mantras then play a soothing chant which will strengthen the child’s protection and well-being. Make sure that you make this time just for you and the womb-child and at least twice a day if not more. Your husband can do a similar meditation with his hands placed on your womb. REMEMBER this meditation is simply to reassure, nurture and bond with the foetus. To fill it with light and the promise of your love and to ensure it carries no emotional scars and baggage from your unmindful behaviour and states. DO NOT use this as a window to establish expectations of what you want the child to be, how he/she must fulfil your dreams and desires. Beauty, laughter and joy are getting coded into the being through your womb. Do not disturb it with your mind’s noise. This is a great time for both parents to practice communication through the language of the soul. Value and treat this time as a Divine gift and blessing and you will ensure the birth of a blessed child.

· If you can learn Reiki from somewhere, then do so since it will aid your healing and communication powers through the womb. Reiki is a healing power which we all contain and can learn how to channel through our hands.

· Learning simple meditation techniques can help enormously in making the pregnancy a healthy and wholesome one. PLEASE DO NOT undermine the impact of your serenity on the psyche of the child you will give birth to. If you begin to meditate regularly you will have less discomfort during pregnancy, morning sickness will disappear and even labour will be easier. This will also guarantee a baby with a calm and happy disposition and one who is not prone to excessive illnesses.
